With Fallout: New Vegas hitting store shelves today, I thought it would be a good idea to give gamers informative detail on what to expect with this new anticipated title. Basically, the game starts out with you dying in the wasteland, having been shot by a random guy that you don’t know.
You’re soon found half-conscious by a friendly little robot, and taken back to a small house to be treated by a doctor. This is where you acquire your skills and perks, such as looking at ink blots and answering questions about what you see. It’s a pretty simple way figure out what your specialty in the game will be, but you also have to choose carefully.
Once all of that is taken care of, it’s your mission to find out who shot you, and why? Much like Fallout 3, New Vegas captivates you in its world by giving you the freedom of choice. Do you want to delve straight into the story and find your attacker, or do you simply want to run around enjoying the sights, or maybe you just want to pick up the nearest gun and blow peoples’ brains out--either way, it’s your choice.
